1st Bell rings at 8:55
Instructional Hours
2nd Bell rings at 9:00am
M,T,Th,F - 9:00-3:34
Wed - 9:00-1:15
If students arrive after 9:05, please come to the front office to sign in and receive a tardy pass (parent must be with student when coming in late)
Students should not arrive any earlier than 8:45am
Preschool: Full day
All Families walk their Pre-K students to class for sign in
M,T,Th,F - 8:45am breakfast in the classroom to 3:15
Wed - 8:45am breakfast in the classroom to 1:00
2-Hour Delays: Abbreviated Days
2-hour delays are called when severe weather causes traffic conditions to be unsafe for student and school employee safety.
- Kindergarten - 5th Grade Arrival time will be 10:45am, school starts at 11:00am and ends at 3:34pm, Should this happen on a Wednesday, start time is 11:00am and dismissal will be at 3:34pm.
- NM PreK- Arrival time 10:45am, school starts at 11:00am to and ends at 3:15pm, should this happen on a Wednesday, start time is 11:00am and dismissal will be at 3:15
School Bus Schedule For Delays
School bus pick-up times for 2-hour school delays will also be 2 hours later than the normal pick-up time
alameda.aps.edu and APS.edu are the best source for information on school delays and closures. Updates are also posted to the APS Facebook page and on Twitter - @ABQschools. In addition, parents will be notified by phone and/or email through SchoolMessenger. It is important that schools have updated contact information.
